Join the Ride for National Bike to Work Day - May 16, 2025!

Celebrate cycling in Central Arkansas on Friday, May 16th! Join Bicycle Advocacy of Central Arkansas (BACA) from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM for free breakfast, snacks, and swag at Metroplan (501 W Markham St, Suite B, Little Rock, AR 72201). This event, part of Metroplan's Ozone Action Days, promotes biking for health, sustainability, and cleaner air.

Choose your own route or join one of the Caravan Rides listed on this page for a group commute. All Caravan Rides will finish at the celebration at Metroplan (501 W Markham St, Suite B, Little Rock, AR 72201).

West Little Rock to Metroplan

This ride leaves at 6:15 from Kohl's parking lot at 13909 Chenal Pkwy, Little Rock, AR. It will wind its way through Little Rock, planning to arrive at Metroplan around 7:00 a.m.

Cooks Landing NLR to Metroplan

Leaving from Cook's Landing at 7:00 am and arriving at Metroplan at around 8:00 am, this ride will utilize the North Little Rock side of the Arkansas River Trail.

University of Arkansas Little Rock to Metroplan

Meet other riders at 6:15 at 28th Street and University. After riding through UALR, the ride will take advantage of the 12th Street Corridor Arriving at Battery & 12th around 6:35and MLK at 6:40. They expect to reach Metroplan around 7:00 am.

Midtown Little Rock to Metroplan

Trinity United Methodist Church at the southeast corner of Mississippi and Evergreen has been kind enough again to let us stage our ride from their parking lot (on Evergreen). If you need to transport your bike to the start, you can leave the car their for the day. The ride starts at 6:30, goes through the neighborhood, to Kavanaugh will end at Metroplan around 7:00 am.

SOMA District to Metroplan

This ride will be perfect for people living in Pettaway, Governor's Mansion District and Quapaw. The group will meet at the Edwards Parking Lot on South Main Street for a casual ride to Metroplan.
