Active Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC) Monthly Meeting

The Active Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC) will have its monthly meeting on Wednesday April 9th, from 3:00-4:30pm, in the Jeffery Hawkins Room of the Metroplan/Pulaski County building, 501 W. Markham (across the street from City Hall).  At ATAC’s request, this month’s meeting will focus on the tragic March 23rd car vs. bike collision at Kavanaugh and Lee that killed Marcus Billingsley (what happened and how might the collision have been prevented).  I am still working to assemble these facts to put them into the context of Vision Zero/Safe Systems Approach (pg. 13) before the meeting.
